Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord and the flautist piano for 3 years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox believed that her abilities aren't the same as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox began her career in 1976 in the band Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Lennox started work with Diva in 1992. It was her debut solo album. It was a huge success both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in November 2014. The C.D. includes a collection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. is the companion album to her art installation at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You Go... The album is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. After a brief successes as a part of the new wave band The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to gain international recognition as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. Lennox started her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of many hits songs such as Why andWalking on Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was which was released in 1995, features versions of some of her best-loved songs, including No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). Six solo studio albums as well as a compilation album at her disposal.
