The achievements of Maureen FitzSimons when she was a teenager in America (which we call Maureen O'Hara today) would have definitely put her into the category of child prodigies. Her family was the family of her parents. Marguerita Lu. FitzSimons had a successful contralto. Charles FitzSimons owned the Shamrock Rovers soccer team in Ireland. He also owned a Dublin business. Maureen FitzSimons is the 2nd daughter of Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons completed this amazing family. Maureen was a fan of rough and athletic games as a child and was a pro in athletics. Furthermore, she had a gift for acting. It was evident by her winning pretty much every Feis award for drama or the stage that her country had to offer. At age 14, she had been admitted into the Abbey Theater, where her ambition was to study operatic singing as well as classical theater.
